Hi, I want to share some information about the part time program specialist at DC Square. On the screen you can see the job description, but I want to really reinforce the fact that this is a key role, supporting the program manager in the successful development of businesses within the designated geographic area and contributing to the Main street program. This position involves a variety of programmatic activities, including technical assistance, promotions, and relationship development. So I invite you to really hone in on the responsibilities in the area of programmatic relationship assistance, data collection, management and research skills, knowledge and experience, and lastly, physical requirements. Founded in 2011 by dedicated community members, DC Squared, formerly Friends of Rhode Island Avenue Northeast, is a nonprofit organization we're dedicated to supporting, promoting and growing small businesses in neighborhood community corridors. We are also passionate about preserving and promoting community community history through art, culture and architecture. We're dedicated to promoting, developing and enhancing local business and community by focusing on areas such as financial investment, community outreach and social gathering, beautification and supporting local businesses. DC Squared is a 501 nonprofit organization with a lens for community building in northeast DC. We manage two Main street programs, the Rhode Island Avenue Main street since 2014 and Bladensburg Road Main street since fall of 2019. The DC Main street program, run out of the D.
