Add new VideoAsk leads to your Pipedrive deals with Zapier

Use VideoAsk to qualify leads and automatically send them to your Pipedrive sales funnel. In this guide, we’ll talk you through how to set up this automation using Zapier, so you can start tracking the progress of your sales deals.

In case you’re new to Pipedrive, it’s a sales customer relationship management tool you can use to track the progress of your deals. Learn more about Pipedrive here.

Here’s what you’ll need to set up this workflow:

  • A VideoAsk account
  • A Zapier account
  • A Pipedrive account

Note: Free plans are available for VideoAsk and Zapier, but you’ll need a paid Pipedrive account. Check out Pipedrive’s pricing page to see which plan fits your needs.

Not sure how to create a lead qualification videoask? Use our lead qualification template as a starting point, then edit the template to make it your own. Make sure to collect your respondent’s contact information in your videoask, so you can include these details in your Pipedrive deal.

From your VideoAsk account, select the videoask you want to connect to Zapier.

Then click Connect My Apps.

You’ll be prompted to log in if you’re not already.

💡Pro tip: You can add conditions to Zaps by using filters if you only want the trigger to happen if a respondent gives a specific answer to a step.

13

Decide what information you want to include in your deal. Click in the fields for a dropdown of information you can select from.

In our example, we’ve created a custom field in Pipedrive for our deals and labeled it VA response. This is where we’ll insert the link to the videoask response we’ve received from a lead. If you’re mapping a link to videoask responses, make sure to set all interactions as shareable in your videoask.

14

Click Continue when you’ve finished adding the information you want to include in your deal.

15

Click Test step. This will send an example deal to Pipedrive.

Double-check everything is appearing as expected on your deal in Pipedrive. Make any changes if required and when you’re happy with how everything’s working, click Publish to turn this Zap on.
